• In which cities do you offer training?

    Our apprenticeship at the HQ will take place either in Hagen or Düsseldorf – this depends on the unit you will be working for. You may find all vacancies at the HQ on our career website. In case your desired location is not listed, we currently don’t offer training there. Make sure to check the career website and stay updated on all of our vacancies.
  • My German is not perfect – can I still apply?

    In case you plan on working in sales at Douglas, very good German skills are a very important requirement. But we do offer various positions in different sectors. Simply check our career section to find the perfect job for you.
  • What’s the process of the apprenticeship?

    The major part of your apprenticeship will take place at our headquarters. Once to twice a week you will attend professional school, which is split into one long and one short day. On the long school days, you will have time off while you will continue working at the headquarter on short school days. Further, the internal training team at Douglas will regularly support you with inter-company trainings that will take place both online as well as offline in form of a residential week. For this, we will invite you once or twice a year to a great location to spend a week discussing exciting topics, pass on lots of knowledge and get to know great products.

  • When will the apprenticeship start, when will professional school start?

    Professional school starts August 1st every year. So it starts right after the summer holidays. Please check the holiday dates in your province.
